You don't say what version of windows you are using but the symptoms you describe can occur in win 95 if there is nothing but a comer in either of the 'load=' or the 'Run=' lines in C:\windows\win.ini or if there are 2 or more spaces seperating any commands on those lines. Have a look at these lines and post back what you find. Regards PC |
