51683	2002-05-31 01:56:00	I want to buy a Sony DVD-rom drive from Advantage Computers, but don't know who they are. They've been running an ad on PressF1, which advertised the DVD-rom drive and I want to make sure they're ok 2 deal with. It's a good price. What do you guys think?	Guest (0)
51684	2002-05-31 02:48:00	Hi, I never read the ads, but I know the one you mean. I recently wanted to upgrade my RAM. I searched around, found advantage, and purchased off them. It wasn't until then that I noticed the ad :-). They were fantastic. Excellent prices when compared with competitors (not the cheapest, but the components are good too, and they are cheaper than DSE). Easy online shoppping. Product arrived within specified delivery time (3 days from Palmerston North to Dunedin). Reasonable delivery charges ($5 nationwide, free for purchases over $250) Order confrimation by email, and a permanent address in palmerston north. Plus, their sales manager was only too happy to answer some of my questions by email. I say, provided the price is reasonable, they are good people to buy from. G P	Guest (0)

51686	2002-05-31 06:44:00	Pity they don't respond to emails then - I asked them to give me a quote when purchasing my computer last year and never heard a word. I sent them two emails and nada! I realise $5000 cash is small potatoes to some organisations, but it was a lot of money to me. I'd been told to contact them by our IT woman at work (which I mentioned in my emails) but I didn't even get a response. Was tempted to write to them after buying my computer elsewhere but couldn't be bothered. Won't be going there for my software either!	Guest (0)
