| 51708 | 2002-05-31 00:51:00 | I recently ran my HPPAVILION through PCPitstop. The test results showed unusually low peformance in drive (C) My system is AMD K6-2, 550HMz Memory 182 MB RAM As a newby I should point out that I dont understand these terms so I would be grateful for assistance in simple terms to lift its performance Thanks |

| 51711 | 2002-06-01 01:17:00 | hmmm dont worry about it...my only suggestion is once a month run a Scandisk and then Disk Defragmenter and if u want a Virus Scanning first. Or if u want a technical side of it..as u mention it u have AMD K6-2, 550HMz, so i assume or it could be (the motherboard) is using 33Mb/s transfer rate (which is latency) from motherboard to harddrive..cuz other motherboard now , as far as I know, is running 66Mb/s or 100Mb/s transfer rate, plus also the type of harddrive cable thats being used with the motherboard to harddrive, plus also the make and model of the harddrive.
