51655 2002-05-30 23:01:00 I'm trying to completely remove all the drivers for a printer i'm having problems with.
The problem is that when i try to go into safe mode, it gets most of the way in, until it displays the message about using safe mode and freezes. I cant do any thing except switch off the machine.
Is there another way to get in to safe mode or a way to completely remove all the drivers for a printer?

51656 2002-05-30 23:14:00 Hi Mat

Are you sure it is freezing? W2K takes an absolute age to boot into safe mode on my 3 boxes, much much longer than a normal boot so try giving it more time.

Go and have a coffee or something as everybody knows the old saying 'a watched box never boots' (or was it a kettle never boots, or a box never boils? must be Friday, mind is going again!).

Cheers

51657 2002-05-31 00:37:00 Thanks, :)
But its still not doing it.

There's an audiable 'beep' just as the small message window (about safe mode) appears.

Bugger!, would be an appropriate word right now.
