Using Windows 98SE. Was checking out something last night and inadvertantly hit Yes to All and deleted some files. Now the icons that were on the task bar have disappeared. Outlook Express, Windows Explorer, IE. When I try to drag the icons down from the desktop I get message that 'shortcut can`t be created', or 'file for quick launch is already in use do I want to update it' If I click yes the icon on the desktop disappears. Checked out the rubbish bin as soon as I realised I had delted files, but they weren`t there, so don`t know how to get them back. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Patsy |
