| 51865 | 2002-06-01 03:33:00 | The PIII is displaying 602mhz speed (system properties) does that sound right, or a sign of overclocking? Sometimes(twice) on first power up, BIOS starts up automatically and says system hung for incorrect frequency form CPU(or something similar)? RESET and loads up without problems. Any ideas appreciated. |

| 51866 | 2002-06-01 15:45:00 | Nothing wrong with what it's reporting. You get an approximate value of your speed. I am assuming your CPU is a PIII 600MHz. There are motherboards that can increment the MHz up by 1MHz in the BIOS but what's being reported doesn't mean it's overclocked it's just running a little faster and is nothing to worry about. |
