52118 2002-06-02 11:15:00 I know a bit has been written about getting the folder tree to start automatically in shortcuts, but I'd like mine to do that in every window, starting from when I first open 'my Comp'.I had it doing just that on w98, but I've forgotten how I did that and now I have XP. Right clicking to properties doesn't seem to bring up the info to change the default view.
any ideas anyone?

OPen Folder Options either through control panel or by clicking Tools>Folder Options in any open window.

Click on the file types tab.

Select Folder (Not File Folder) and then click the advanced button.

Select explore (open will be bolded) and click set default. OK your way out and your done.
