52106	2002-06-02 09:41:00	It's an optional part of Office, so go into: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > (pick) Office > Add/Remove Features ... Then browse around the available features until you find the Office Shortcut Bar (I don't know which category it's in) and untick it. and continue. You'll need your Office CD. Cheers John.	Guest (0)
52107	2002-06-02 09:43:00	I managed to get rid of it ages ago and if I rember right I draged it off the side into the middle of the screen and then it had the X to close it. Hope this works for you.	Guest (0)
52108	2002-06-02 09:45:00	Hi Mark, I know the toolbar you mean but I can't be much help. My 7year old got rid of mine but I don't know how. I do know that you can set it to auto hide by right clicking the toolbar and selecting properties and checking Auto hide and also drag and drop it to whichever side of the screen is most out of the way. 52109	2002-06-02 10:15:00	The other way to get rid of it is goto start > settings > taskbar & startmenu > clik the start menu programs >clik remove then double clik statup..then remove the ones that u dont want to load during startup...which in ur case the office toolbar. Jim	Guest (0)
