| 52079 | 2002-06-02 07:13:00 | I have fitted a Samsung 6GB HD to my brothers computer as a second hard disk (ie.Drive D:). The Bios sees it but Win98 does not. The HD is a good second hand one (I know it is OK)but has Win XP on it. So I assume it has to be reformated to Fat 32 from NTFS. How do I do this? |

If you can't delete the partition - download delpart.exe and save it to the boot floppy and try that. Then after a reboot with the boot disk - format the D drive - do not mark it active. |
