| 52229 | 2002-06-03 07:39:00 | I have a ? for every decimal point in excel and now for anything to do with microsoft apps instead of a dot i get an ?.ie Internet explorer etc. I have tryed to do a virus scan online but have failed, i have updated my virusware but was it too late? Or could i have accidently changed a format somewhere.If i could change it back in excel 97 i would be very happy as i have important accounting in it. TIA |

| 52230 | 2002-06-03 08:15:00 | Look in Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Customise. You should be able to select the decimal point character and other issues here. You do not give any details of your operating system, so cannot be any more specific. The comments apply for Windows XP, but should be similar for 95 or 98, ME. Your posting shows question marks ? however this may actually have been an apostrophy, as the software on this bulliten board appears to translate them Hoe that helps TW |
