| 52224 | 2002-06-03 06:38:00 | Does anyone have any tweaks for Ihug satellite ? My connection seems to getting awfully slow these days. There was a time when 300-400K bits was common on the terrestrial link (i.e. not off Sky Tower. Now if I hit a quarter of that I'm lucky. Have tried a few regestry tweaks, but nothing seems to help. Is it Ihug runnung out of bandwidth again ?? Any help appreciated. | Guest (0) | ||
| 52225 | 2002-06-03 10:55:00 | you can tweak the mtu and rwin settings wich helps. unfortunatly theres several reasons it can be slow. sites uploading slow (try multi mirrors), ihug being slow of course, phone line being to slow or getting lots of errors or even hardware ie dish out of alainment. |
