52124 2002-06-02 12:28:00 Just spent ages cleaning up my hard drive after getting caught by the benjamin virus.
Several thousand infected files had to be deleted but I'm left with one file that I can't delete or rename. It's windows/system/explorer.scr and it maybe one created by bejamin or is it an important windows file?
Any suggestions on what to do with this file would very appreciated. Cheers Ken.

PS. Evidently this virus comes from Kazaa downloads!!!

52126 2002-06-02 16:51:00 Hi Ken,

Tane is right. The file extension .scr is for screensavers. I have searched my clean system and I dont have an explorer.scr file, so, if you have doubts about having it on your system throw it out.

If you cant delete it, try renaming it to explorer.old and then you may be able to delete. If not, dont worry. With the file extension .old it shouldnt cause trouble.

Cheers.
