| 52391 | 2002-06-04 09:19:00 | Hi Sergio When you say you want a 17 inch LCD, be aware that a 15 inch LCD is very close in displayable size to a 17 inch CRT monitor. A 17 inch LCD would be close to 20 inch CRT in comparison. This is due to being able to utilise all available screen area with almost none masked off. I run 2 LCD monitors here, Philips and HP, both 15 inch. There is a price gulf between them, with 15 inch $1,000-$1,300 and 17 inch almost double that. Before you buy, try to get the opportunity to compare models side by side, you will be amazed at the difference, the cheaper ones are often very poor in comparison. A case of getting what you pay for. TJ |
