| 52279 | 2002-06-03 12:50:00 | Hi gunesh, I was wondering which ISP you were using before slingshot? A friend of mine was with zfree (until they closed) and i4free. He changed to slingshot and was complaing that it was no faster than i4free. I mentioned that other users on this forum were reasonably happy with slingshots performance. He rang their helpdesk and they said, 'Yes you have a slingshot account, but as yet you haven't accessed it.' With a few changes made via the helpdesk he is surfing along quite happily. He constantly gets a ping speed of under 200 when playing counterstrike. Judging by other users comments, its not slingshot that sux. My advice, because of slingshots cheap rates, would be to get all settings checked via the helpdesk. Cheers. |
