| 52319 | 2002-06-04 02:03:00 | Hi Stephen Office 2000 runs fine on XP. I suspect that if you load xp sbe you may need to reload powerpoint o2k. I did just that with o97, then o2ksbe over the top. Needed to reload pp97, but worked OK apart from a niggle with spell checker in pp. HTH TW |

| 52320 | 2002-06-04 02:08:00 | Yes and Yes. You can have Office XP and Office 2000 running on the same Windows XP machine. The only component that can't have both versions installed is Outlook, you will have to choose either Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002 (XP). The Office XP installer will ask if you want to replace older installed versions. If you want to keep both versions, change the Office XP install location to something like C:\Program Files\Office XP\ so it doesn't install in the same directory as Office 2000, that way installed files don't interfere with each other. | Guest (0) | ||
