| 52674 | 2002-06-06 01:58:00 | Hmm...I had a problem with Codec a while ago actually. I was had installed the latest version of DivX and for some files it would play video and no sound and on others it'd play sound, but no video. In the end I had to go right back and install divX version 3.something then divX version 4 and then version 5...and then it all worked. I'm not sure if that's always the case, but it seemed that the divX 5 codec wasn't handling earlier compressions properly and I needed to install the earlier version (in sequence) and upgrade to overcome the problem. This is just a note in case anyone has this problem :) Callum |
