52516 2002-06-05 02:05:00 About two weeks ago My 128Ram fell out of its socket(don't ask how too embarrassing) Since then my OE is throwing a wobbly. I am not receiving EMs, even ones I send to myself, I am on xtra.I cannot get into OE Properties or any OE to see if I can see anything wrong.
Secondly, I tried Clearnet for a while & did not like it so I gave it away. How do I 'Uninstall'it without Toyota-ing things up. Can any one Help Please?

I can't imagine how having your RAM drop out could possibly cause the problems you're experiencing with OE. If the rest of your computer programmes seem to be functioning normally then I think it's safe to say that the RAM issue (I shan't ask) isn't your problem :)

I'd suggest reinstalling OE and see if that helps. You might need to reconfigure your connection to your ISP for mail and stuff, but it might be worth a shot to fix it.

As for the Clearnet thing. Since you ask about uninstalling it I assume it's a programme (just one I haven't used). The easiest way to uninstall anything is to go to:
My Computer > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

Scroll down the list until you find the 'Clearnet' entry and then click the 'Remove' button. It should uninstall everything from there.

HTH

It might be quite helpful to tell us how your RAM fell out, even if only so others can avoid the same problems that you have :-)
