| 52491 | 2002-06-05 01:33:00 | I have been asked why a friend's win98SE does not always shut down- sometimes she has great diffulculty- even to switching off at the hotpoint. I have had this problem intermitently but now I must find the answer. In June 'netguide' is an article that concedes that this is a typical problem and to go to a microsoft site. I did this( by the way the numbers given by netguide are not correct- a new number is on the site. BUT how do I apply the download? |

In IE 4 or later click on Tools> windows updates> select Product updates, it will then check your PC for updates that you require - all without sending any infomation to Micro$oft -Yeah right! |
