52648 2002-06-05 10:59:00 my modem jumps from port
Com3 to Com1 causing me to
disconnect.
Nothing new has been added
to my pc.
How can I fix this?

If not, then try tying your modem down by lashing it to one of those big capacitors on the motherboard...
