52472 2002-06-04 23:53:00 Is there any way to add USB support to WinNT4 and to do so cheaply? Guest (0)
52473 2002-06-05 02:19:00 No - upgrade to Windows 2000 or install a machine on the domain with Windows 9x Guest (0)
52474 2002-06-05 10:22:00 NT4 has usb support.
What are you trying to connect?
I connected a Iomega 650 CD writer today via USB to an NT4.0 PC. You are relying on the manufacturer to have a USB driver for NT though.
Are you saying that your PC has no USB ports at present?

52475 2002-06-13 04:57:00 Sorry for being away for so long fellas!!

Had a couple of devices that I could not find NT4 USB drivers for and was wondering if there was a generic NT4 USB support patch for NT4 (as it is not supported by NT4) for OS native support (the presence or otherwise of the ports was not the problem). However, I have been given drivers that have done the job even though they are not technicaly for the particular devices in question. So all is well with the world again :)

Thanks for the input people.
