| 1302434 | 2012-09-20 18:57:00 | Up until now I've been formatting tables in excel and then copying and pasting them into publisher. This was working fine until I was informed that the data in my spreadsheet is subject to change on a quarterly basis. My spreadsheet has been broken into several pages to make it easier to read, and updating both the spreadsheet and the publisher file every three months is a huge time waster. We wouldn't have the man power to keep up with it. I know that you can link excel tables to automatically update in word, but when I try to paste it as an object in publisher I get a very distorted looking table with static data. Is there a refresh button or something on publisher that I don't know about? Is there another way to embed the data so that it knows to always pull from the original source? Thanks for your help!
