1303429 2012-09-25 22:37:00 Updating the bios may fix it, thats if you can find the right BIOS for it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1303430 2012-09-25 23:13:00 Return to retailer under warranty if only 2 months old. Let them fix it. bluenose (14548)
1303431 2012-09-25 23:25:00 Yup, bluenose definitely has it right here. If it is only 2 months old best to return to where you bought it for a fix under warranty. Nick G (16709)

THANK U,The exact model is hp pavilion dm4-2033cl. it's not listed in hp support. i was wondering if booting from factory image woud solve the problem. if not, is there any other place to get a BIOS apart from the official hp support?

1303434 2012-09-26 22:21:00 Might not be the BIOS, if there is only one BIOS on the site. And nope you should only get a BIOS update from the manufacturer. Speedy Gonzales (78)

If it is only 2 months old, take it back to where you bought it with the receipt and get it fixed under warranty.

Oh, and please don't post in caps :)

1303437 2012-10-01 22:33:00 Probably a hardware fault. Not much you can do about that other than take it back. Most rechargeable batteries lose charge overtime anyway... Not sure if 12% is excessive or not. icow (15313)
