| 53042 | 2002-06-07 14:28:00 | Does anyone have any idea why ALL my Outlook files and settings have disappeared?. I'm talking about all my old email, all my tasks and calendar settings have been reset..eveything including the kitchen sink! My email account still works though. Would the Klez virus have anything to do with it as Norton picked it up, but as far as I'm aware it quarentined it. One other thing is, I've had a rather persistent 'idiot' sending me alot of mail that I ignore and have applyed some rules to ignore his mail, but this most of the time does not work, as they are still getting through?? Is there a possibility that he somehow infiltrated his way into my computer and is the root cause of my problems? I've run Adaware a few times and it has picked up some files, but I always delete them...I'm running OfficeXP Outlook on WinXP...thanks for your time | Guest (0) | ||

If the e-mail messages still remain on the computer there may be a way to restore then, only problem is finding where they are, I was trying a few weeks ago and it took me hours to find the folder but in the end it worked, I am not home at the moment, but if you want me to guide you though this evening feel free to ICQ me 42524490 or e-mail adzest@adzest.net I have to remember myelf where they were, its in about 12 sub folders or something crazy like that. | Guest (0) | ||
