| 53221 | 2002-06-09 03:09:00 | Check that the CD is jumpered as SLave, and HD is jumpered as MAster if they are on the same IDE interface. Even if they are on different IDE cables, CDs sometimes work 'better' as slave, aven if they are the only device on the cable. What does the BIOS say what hard drives are present? |

| 53223 | 2002-06-09 11:58:00 | hi, why not take the cd rom out and try detect the harddrive to see whats wrong then add the cd rom back in later. it might be easier that way to see if the harddrive is working or not. jon. |
