| 53076 | 2002-06-08 00:22:00 | I am not sure about that exact model but first you need to find out if it has an AGP slot, they are usually slightly smaller than PCI slots and are brown or dark green, it will be located near the middle of the mobo, usually at one end of the PCI slots. I shall post a picture when i get home if you still need help finding if you have one. If there is an AGP slot, your choice of video card is basically unlimited and really depends on how much you are willing to spend. If you do not have an AGP card, you will have to get a PCI videocard of which there is only a very small number of choices to give you a reasonable number of fps, your only option would be a GeForce 2 MX 400 which costs about $230 and you wont get that much performance increase with it. | Guest (0) | ||
| 53077 | 2002-06-08 13:56:00 | Hi If you don't have an agp slot, how about a couple of Voodoo 11's. Slot them into your spare pci slots, link them up with your existing gfx card and watch it rock. Should be able to get a Voodoo 11 from trademe.co.nz, Ebay or T&E for about $50-70 each. cheers Murray P |
