| 53158 | 2002-06-08 07:21:00 | Craig, You've got a setting in your BIOS that's called something like 'Wake-on-call' or 'Wake-on-ring' or something similar. Open your system BIOS (usually you press Del or F1 or F2 when you first turn your computer on... it should tell you what to press, eg 'Press DEL to enter setup'), and look through the options for an option to turn off the 'wake-on-call' setting (will probably be near or next to another setting called 'wake-on-lan'). Be sure not to change other settings in your BIOS; if you accidentally change one, quit the BIOS without saving. HTH Mike. |
