53367 2002-06-09 04:59:00 I have a number of CD Disk's that are badly scratched. How can I go about cleaning these scratches from the disk's. I have heard about home CD resurfacing machines but where can I get one from.
Can anyone can help me.

Not sure where you can buy one but check out your local video rental shop. Our local one offers CD resurfacing for a small price.

Video Ezy have scratch removal machines - they charge $11 to remove scratches from DVDs, so I guess it'll be about the same for CDs.

53370 2002-06-10 04:43:00 Get a soft cloth and a bottle of Brasso. Polish away. This has always been the magic repair for scratched Perspex front panels. Should work just as well on polycarbonate. (Probably best to polish along the radius, not around the disk). Guest (0)
