53562	2002-06-10 01:56:00	I recently updated Windows and have now only got a generic icon for My Computer, My Documents and the Recycle Bin. If I go to the Effects Tab of Display Properties where you can change icons, there are no icons showing at all. Clicking Change Icon does nothing either ofcourse. Help. Also, I have never used a Windows password, but I now get the password dialogue box comming up everytime I connect to my ISP. Can this be got rid of? Looking forward to a response. Thanx	Guest (0)

53564	2002-06-10 02:34:00	Further to Josaihs msg Re the ISP windows... you may have an extra option inadvertently selected. In your Dial-Up Networking folder: Right Click on the Internet Connection you use. Click on the Options Tab Make sure that Windows Logon Domain box is NOT ticked (selected) Apply your settings and the NEXT time you use that connection it shouldn't have a user/domain/logon window, Hope this helps.
