My PC is a Pent III 800 MHz on a Transend mother board(TS-AVE 3/B)running Windows ME with 384 ram. I decided to upgrade from a TNT2 to a Geforce 4 Mx440. I removed the drivers and set the display to 640x480-standard VGA display driver, shut the PC down and installed the new card. When I turned the PC back on the monitor remained blank and the POST beeped its head off and shutdown. I have tried a replacement card still no go. Going by the motherboard booklet it should support the new card. Could someone give us a hand with this, Cheers. |
