| 53691 | 2002-06-10 11:47:00 | I have a Epson scanner, connected via firewire to one computer. I would like to connect it so two computers can use the scanner, either one at any one time. Each computer is close to the scanner, I am wondering if there is a manual switch I can use to switch between the two computers, each of which would have a firewire card installed. |

I found the pinouts and mention of 'hubs' for Firewire (1 computer multiple devices) at www.ramelectronics.met/html/ieee-1394-hubs.html . They also refer to firewire networking (multiple computers sharing devices) with a link to www.unibrain.com/ . |
