| 53896 | 2002-06-11 14:52:00 | I have a minor problem with the volume systray applet. The standard dos type system 'beep' has replaced the selected system noise chosen in the sound control panel when changing the volume. The dos type beep plays at the same volume whatever the slider is set to. The sound is OK for all other uses - I said it was a minor problem! Ths only applies to the normal login I use; if i use administrator everything is normal. (win2k) If I create a new user the sound is fine. I'm curious to know if anyone knows what the problem is - I've searched the web for a solution but can't find anyone mentioning this particular problem. |
