| 54076 | 2002-06-12 16:41:00 | I've recently noticed a 'strange' Microsoft app that loads on startup called Loadqm.exe. It doesn't ring any bells with my av software and I've not noticed it before, so it's a recent arrival on my PC. Does anyone know what it is and/or what it does? |

| 54077 | 2002-06-12 20:16:00 | <www.pacs-portal.co.uk Follow the above link for info on LoadQM and a 1000 other start up programs. Remove the <> each end of the link. If you follow the advice of the link and disable LoadQM, just go Start > Run > msconfig > Startup > and remove the tick from LoadQM > reboot. While you are in there you might find other items that can be disabled from the startup as well. |

Just the 'W' section of the alphabetic listing showing all the stuff that can be added by viruses designed to look like regular stuff is scary. Thank you for sharing that.*S* |
