| 54042 | 2002-06-12 10:00:00 | When I use shift2 for the @ sign it shows up as '. To get the @ sign I have to use shift'. When I use shift3 for the hash sign it shows a # sign. These are the only two keys (so far!)that are doing strange things and has only recently happened. My regional settings are NZ and language English UK. The keyboard is a standard 101/102 key. | 54043 | 2002-06-12 10:21:00 | George, Go to where you found that your language settings are English UK, and change it to English NZ. That should hopefully do the trick. You may need to set the English NZ as default, and then delete the English UK option. HTH Mike. |

| 54044 | 2002-06-12 11:14:00 | Mike L, further to the above English Pound Money Symbol. We don't have it on our English NZ Language version we have $. I often need to use that Pound symbol in E-mails to the UK. Is there a way of using a key(s) to type in this symbol easily without changing Language settings? Thanks John M |

| 54045 | 2002-06-12 14:10:00 | Hello George, Your problem is, you have your Keyboard set incorrectly, To fix, go to control panel, Keyboard,Language, then choose the one you want, should be either English UK or English NZ (Word etc will now default to this for spell checking)the important step is to make sure you choose these options with United States 101 layout selected, you must choose US 101 layout for your Keyboard to function normally. I'm also trying to change the document default in Word without success. I can get it use the font and size I want but am unable to get it to save as justified as the default layout, it keeps returning to left side margin - once again, any ideas?? Regards, George. |
