54262 2002-06-13 20:55:00 is there a way to to add more ram to my video card so i don't have to buy a new one if u know i need u to tell if u tried it too.my computer i 20G 125MB win98 and 8MB video card.

54263 2002-06-14 00:21:00 some early ones came out with sockets on them so you could add more ram.

being an 8meg card i wouldn't bother, just get a new faster video card.

It's probably fitted to an AGP slot.
If so get the best you can afford - 32 MB at least for todays graphics.
64MB is better, but you won't notice much improvement on Win98 with a larger memory than 64MB.
If you have Win98 then if possible upgrade to Win98 SE (Second edition) as is less buggsy.
Update at least weekly and clean out your Internet Explorer History + Cache + cookies regulary helps too.
