ALL SECONDARY STUDENTS WHO FEEL THAT THE GOVERNMENT ARE !WRONG! AND TEACHERS DESERVE A PAY RISE, AND THAT OUR EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVIES ARE IMPORANT- ---SIGN THIS PETITION--- www.petitiononline.com Most importantly FORWARD THIS to all new zealand students!!! this is a must because if this petition gets NATIONAL and not just local, it will stand out above the rest and MAYBE the government will listen. THIS IS SERIOUS! OUR FUTURE, OUR EDUCATION, OUR LEISURE...ALL OF IT IS AT STAKE! Things that have been taken away from us are: Sport. Training and playing and exchanges, all of them banned. Culture. All afterhours activies such as productions, etc, have been banned Academic. Our unit standards will NOT be sent away to Wellington. If you are sitting unit standards this is HAZARDOUS to your education. There are MANY other aspects taken away from us, such as socials and the ball, if we do NOT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. 54258	2002-06-17 07:17:00	Perhaps it?s the teachers that you should be angry with not the government As it?s the teachers that are taking away your EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVIES in order to get more money. Teachers have never been payed much. If they want more money then perhaps they should get a real job. As the saying goes. IF YOU CAN?T DO THEN TEACH. It seems to me that you students are just being used by your teachers, so that they can get their own way. I personally like the idea of paying teachers based on their performance. I.e. put them on individual contracts and paying the good teachers more as there is to many useless teachers out there.	Guest (0)
