| 54188 | 2002-06-13 08:50:00 | Bob, I think this might be a good question to send to Raven Software, or Lucasarts - perhaps check the Lucasarts support helpdesk; sometimes they have good solutions there <www.lucasarts.com There is no file on the CD called data3.cab, just data.cab and data2.cab, so there could be a bug in your installation file. Either look on one of the websites, or take the game back to who you bought it from, and ask if you can exchange it for a new copy as your one seems to be faulty (don't take any crap about not being about to return software, because they have to exhange faulty products). | 54189 | 2002-06-13 09:03:00 | The request for data3.cab indicates that either: You are installing a copy that has been done as a 1:1 to avoid software copy protection, but the original disk did not copy correctly (and if so that is illegal, and you should be more careful than to post where it can be traced) or Your original (or copied) disk needs cleaning. Try toothpaste to remove minor marks and scratches, remember that the data is located just under the label side of the CD so do not scratch the label. |
