| 54504 | 2002-06-15 09:44:00 | Hello Stephen, in theory, you should be able to connect from your radio earplug socket to your line in on your computer, although, the quality of sound could be poor. If you try it, pull your volumes right down, before you connect up, and then move them up slowly. and if you can hear the radio through your computer speakers, then it is successful. check to see that your linein volume control is not muted. The two programs that record linein, are musicmatch, which is free, although I believe you need to pay for faster burning of cds, and mediajukebox, which has a 30 day trial. | 54505 | 2002-06-15 13:56:00 | Hi, if line-in doesn't work, plug a set of headphones into it, and play something on your PC. If you can hear something it is probably because you have on-bord sound, and the sound driver has set the line-in to be rear speaker out. this is a common situation, which to my knowledge is not remedied. In this case follow the instructions by Bob above, but using the mic plug. Also, make sure the volume on the walkman is really low first. G P |
