| 1303656 | 2012-09-27 10:57:00 | I cannot remove a program from Windows 2000 Pro. The procedure starts up ok but ends with "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file". Tried many times with the same result. So tried in safe mode, but the same result. Did a search on INSTALL.LOG, but the file could not be found. The program I wish to remove is Meade Autostar Suite, an astronomy program. Thats interesting, the program is no longer listed in Windows Explorer, however its still there in Add/Remove programs. Would this mean that it is actually removed but has not/cannot be removed from the add/remove programs listing ? |
