1279597 2012-06-04 06:19:00 It seems TC sales people are getting a bit pushy Story here (www.stuff.co.nz) gary67 (56)
1279598 2012-06-04 09:37:00 That's what you get when you hire casual salespeople on commission. Unprincipled rogues out to earn more bucks. In the good old days the person who hired that salesperson would have been sacked for sending someone out without adequate training. coldot (6847)
1279599 2012-06-04 09:57:00 Lousy low life salesman bastard. If you did that to my old folks and tried putting me on hold I would hunt the salesman down. prefect (6291)
1279600 2012-06-04 12:15:00 I'm getting that sort of BS at home all the time. My elderly mum lives here, and she's a push-over for sales people... whether on the phone or at the door.
The number of run-ins I had with the scum-bag from HRV was incredible.
They'd phone her and make a booking. I'd get the messaage that 'someone is coming about something', and have to tell the very, very pushy and rude salesperson to get lost. They never took no for an answer, and would stand in my house and argue the case with me after being told to leave. Total scumbags.

There has to be a point where they stop to question whether the person they've manipulated into saying "yes" is in command of their faculties, and whether or not that person is indeed the owner of the home, or the person who's paying for the phone, or the electricity, or just a deluded or confused person who feels it's impolite to say no to the unwelcome intruder.
