| 1279180 | 2012-06-12 22:27:00 | Paul, what is your view on those tinted sunglass lenses one finds in many optometrists. I don't know the brand but they together on a set with different color tints. I know one could get Oakley but expensive, have some ski googles, like them might get a pair of normal sunnies in the future but the prescription ones are maybe too expensive. Sorry, but I have no idea which range you are talking about. For economy and relatively neutral spectrum, use a grey polarizer. They don't have to be expensive. Just ensure there is some assurance of UV block. You can get clip-on polarizers which fit over your prescription lenses. Cheap, but does the job well. Some like the yellow contrast enhancing lenses. From a personal perspective, I think they're foul. They might have a 'wow' factor to the contrast when first worn, but the colour rendering is hopeless. Glad of a happy outcome for PCTech. |
