They should have enlarged the whole thing. The OS is boring which is what puts me off. I tried the Galaxy S3, I gotta say that screen is real large but I could deal with it. | sahilcc7 (15483)

Yea, the GS3 is definitely pretty neat. Tried my hardest, haven't made it lag yet. Whereas I made a One X lag a lot when using the multitasking pane. Hate sense, really like touchwiz though. |

| 1304306 | 2012-12-13 03:19:00 | I was very disappointed in the new IPhone 5. If you have an IPhone 4 or 4s you should just stay with it. Siri isn't really worth getting if your coming from the IPhone 4. The IPhone 5 has minimum upgrades from the 4S. They should have called it IPhone 4SL (L stands for long). The new new an upgrade features for the iPhone 5 from the 4s are IOS 6 (the 4 and 4s will be getting too), A6 chip (which is slower then the new Android phone the Galaxy Note 2 and all other Quad Core processors coming out), updated Seri, 4G LTE, 4 inch screen, 3D mapping (Android has had for years), turn by turn navigation (Android also had for years), little upgrade for the camera like panoramic picture (another thing Android had for years), a little bit bigger battery (3.7v instead of 3.6v and 1445 mA instead of 1435 mA), 3 microphones instead of 2, a smaller power charger (which makes all your other charger and docking ports irrelevant), No google search engine, No YouTube, and No Google Maps. Apple is going to charge around 30 dollars for each adapter you buy. Google dropped their stuff from Apple. Like I said minor upgrade. I feel that Apple is behind on the technology side. They have been on cruise control. Why spend a lot of money on innovation and technology, when you can spend a little bit of money for minor upgrades and people will still buy your phones. Until Apple takes a major hit in their phone sales don't expect any major innovation or technology. The new stuff they came out on the IPhone 5, Android has had for a few years now. Apple is also very restrictive on what you can put on their phone and what you can do with their phone. |

I never liked android as the hardware has always left me underwhelmed with how laggy it is, and trust me iv used just about every android phone worth mentioning and on a software front their stock experience is slowly catching up with apple. But then again its pointless to compare the two as they are designed to fit totally different needs, personally i just want a phone that works out of the box so iphone is for me. | Slankydudl (16687)
| 1304308 | 2012-12-13 05:53:00 | Yeah it's quite funny, we got Panorama last year on Android with ICS, it comes for iOS this year... so then a month after iOS gets Panorama built in, we get Photosphere and HDR built in with Android-4.2 Jellybean :D BTW - Nexus 4, best phone ever, just sayin! |

| 1304309 | 2012-12-13 06:43:00 | Really, i was really disappointed when i used my mates nexus 4, still super laggy. You scroll and its so obvously noticable that its lagging behind, with my iphone 4 you really need to swipe you finger fast before you start to see the screen move behind your finger | Slankydudl (16687) | ||
| 1304310 | 2012-12-13 07:24:00 | I have never had a Nexus lag on me, except a mates but she was running a helluva lot of stuff in the background (not sure about iOS but you weren't able to actively process bg apps previously... not sure now) Just fixed up a 2G iPod touch to sell, that one is laggy to the point of frustration. Yes it's an old old old machine, it doesn't deny the fact it lags. I think with Android people seek out the lag, so they can slam it, heck with both OS's people look for flaws actively and as such, they notice them and point them out. If you use iOS will come across times when it does lag, not as much as a Galaxy with touchwiz but it's still there in places. I have lost all interest in the what's better competition. I enjoy android but the stock ROM's are awful, put super nexus ROM on 3x phones, 2 SII's and an SIII. User feedback was amazingly positive. Stock ROM's are the pits, out dated and poor performing in ever aspect from power and RAM management through to being outdated and laggy. Custom ROM's are a godsend however it shouldn't be that way. The flexibility is great with people making Super power efficient ROM's, high readability ones and over clocked brag-about-my-score ROM's but the fact that most in the know people buy a top of the line HTC or Samsung device and then download a 3rd party piece of software JUST to use it well is pretty sad. The rest of the world has to sit back and deal with outdated poor functioning software. iOS is fine, It feels a little dated to me (personal opinion) and I think the iPhone 5 is a complete yarn but it suits the needs of people which is great for them, I won't go into the iPad range. That's a joke. iPods are... scratch that, were great, no one has yet to successfully challenge them, That might change with their latest lot, the touch screen nano is daft and the lumia look alike 5th gen touches are a joke. They look ickky, I had a look at a mates one, it was some sort of putrid mint green. Feral!! It's been said before but I really do think apple fell apart post Jobs. I have a lot of respect for what he did and how he came about it. I'll forever bash his fruity products and I'm sure he's waiting with a macbook for me in hell ;) Jokes aside, get a windows phone :D (But in all seriousness, most of Apple's stuff is acceptable) |
