They ring up saying that their machine won't boot and then mention that the machine has been saying something about hard drive failure when turning it on but they've just been able to carry on by pressing F1! "How long has it been doing that for?" I ask and they usually say "oh a month or more" :waughh: |

| 1280222 | 2012-06-07 11:15:00 | What I hate are the clients who buy second-hand business production technology (not computers) without getting it checked out first, need it operational NOW, so you sweat over the job for several hours, throw several thousand dollars worth of technology at it, not to mention decades of experience, get everything working, knock the sharp edges off the bill because (you tell yourself) perhaps 'economies of scale' should apply and anyway it will still be a goodly sum, then the p****s refuse to pay the bill, claiming you are overcharging. :( I have a long memory and I am still taking it out of the hide of the worst offenders on every job I've done for them since! :devil: Cheers Billy 8-{) |

Gotta wonder huh? :D Quite agree he is obviously a tight ar$e if he is using a PC with ME on it so you wouldn't make anything out of him anyway. |
