(careful, sometimes u will get charged $2.50 an hour with the second connection (or similar price)) connection speed is still relatively slow, and with all the disadvantages of a dial up. cya |

The reason Multilink (that's whst it's called) appears to be completely useless, is that it was designed for ISDN connections, so that two lines could be put in, in the event that one failed. It has since been given the once-over by M$ so it could be used by standard dial-up modems, but they appear to have neglected a few slight problems... :) Erin |

To get a reliable connection was what I was after - very rural here, 60 K's to nearest small town (1 X garage, 1 X school, 1 X Hall), God knows how far to nearest tele exchange. The only thing going for this place is the the 'road' ends in the Pacific Ocean and we are the last house on it. Oh joy - fishing from the edge of the propery. Now that's living. |
