| 54728 | 2002-06-17 04:42:00 | A few days ago you posted an offer to reveal a site that had downloads of various versions of MS DOS and Windows. I have searched Google and Vivisimo (ever used that one - its good) and without going to all 60 or so links found I couldn't see an obvious match for your site (unless it was Downlod Center and the M$ police have been there and made them take off their MS DOSs). Could you please post the site you offered. Thanks. |

| 54732 | 2002-06-17 11:17:00 | Terry and Kame: Thanks for the info. Merlin: I am a bit of an old DOS dog (especially DRDOS in its day!) and still find it handy at times for troubleshooting. I have an MSDOS 6.22 boot disc which doesn't work and I don't know where the originals are. If I could restore it it might come in handy some day. And there are still people around using Win 3.1 or 3.11 - one posted to this forum about a week or so ago. Knowledge of old stuff can be useful as I presume ancient wizards would know! |
