| 54686 | 2002-06-16 23:18:00 | I've replaced the mobo (BX chipset)with one (epox 6-vba)which now allows me to access my HDD (40G Maxtor 5400rpm)using UDMA. Unfortunately performance suffers when UDMA isselected in BIOS and sound stuttering occurs during game play. DMA is selectable through the control panel (Win ME) but wont allow it to remain selected. A CD-RW (mode 3) occupies the primary slave position. What gives? I thought UDMA would add some zip. | Guest (0) | ||
