| 54652 | 2002-06-16 10:22:00 | I have ben told that Windows ME does not work well with Internet Explore ver6 and to reinstall an earlier version. Apparently this will fix the blue error screen faults(and blank screen faults)that lock up my computer and can only be cleared by pressing the reset button. Is this true? If so which is the best version? How would I go about flushing IE ver6 off my computer to make way for an earlier version? System = athlon 1000mhz, 512m ram, BIOS v6.00PG. Thanks |

| 54654 | 2002-06-17 10:46:00 | Blue screen error codes: OE:0028:FF1425BD and OD:0246:016F47FB and OE:0028:FF13F762 and Iexplore error in DIBENG.DLL and OE:0028:0000A661 and OE:0028:FF12D8AF and OE:0028:00000004 and OD:1111:016F2737 and 0028:C00A7634 in V x D All these diffrent codes give the option of using Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart or pressing any key to return to windows. Sometimes this works most times the screen goes blank until we press the reset button. Only one or two codes appear at once, also the same errors keep coming back. Thanks for replying I hope that helps. The company I bought the computer off recommended I bring it in to get v6 totally removed from the computer. |
