| 54655 | 2002-06-16 10:20:00 | Can anyone explain why Word 2000 template normal.dot keeps increasing in size without me knowingly changing anything. It also sometimes comes up with a box when closing Word down saying normal.dot is being used by someone else Do you want to save the changes? If yes, it says it is a read only file. If no it takes a number of attemps to close word down I have no viruses |

Search your drive for the file, the location of it may vary. If you have macros or autotext stuff you may want to backup the old version first (rename it to normal.old or something). If you still have problems try fixing Word by clicking on Help, Detect and Repair. Hope this helps, Rod. |
