| 54607 | 2002-06-16 07:54:00 | I loaned one of my test computers to a friend who installed Linux Mandrake 6.5 Server. Now, when I want it removed I can't seem to get rid of it. I have formatted the drive ok, but something is still in the Master Boot Sector of the hard drive so LILO still wants to load Linux, but upon not finding Linux, it just freezes. I can install MSDOS (through a bootup disk) and from that I hope to reinstall Windows. Could someone please tell me how to get rid of Linux from the Master Boot Sector Thanks |
