54844 2002-06-17 20:55:00 I have not visited for a few days and was amazed to find so many multiple posts1 What's happening. Also had a laugh or to at Susans thread re unanswerable questions and was surprised to find that many of the serious posters are not as I expected, (with respect) spotty faced third formers but people who like me were brough up with the Goons, The Goodies, the Navy Lark, ITMA and Educating Archie and who remembers Have a go Joe with Wilfred Pickles and mabel at the table.
There, that dates me,it seems there is life after death.

Ho Hum!

Ps when is the Beta going Alpha?

54845 2002-06-17 21:08:00 Isn't it because of this new system we have got running? HAHA -(Nelson from The Simpsons) Guest (0)
54846 2002-06-17 22:57:00 Its the spotty faced third formers ..... aka 'a large dose of impatience' Guest (0)
54847 2002-06-17 23:25:00 For an exact answer to the when is the new pressf1 is going live you will have to ask Robo, Even those who are beta testing the new system dont know how long it will be before we have found and illiminated enough of the bugs. Robo hints we are going 'live' soon..
i hope this is the case.
You will be pleased to know is that we do not suffer from the multi post problem that haunts this version of the forum. Bear with it for another week, Press f1 for all it's annoying bugs, and even in it's current form is still one of the greatest resourses i have stumbled accross on the www

And it is about to get significantly better!

54848 2002-06-18 00:21:00 I consider myself a regular poster and I'm not a spotty 3rd former....i'm nothing but a spotty 5th former!! hehehe from the west of auckland of course. Guest (0)
54849 2002-06-18 00:23:00 It does't always result from impatience. I had a double-up of a response I posted last week and I definitely submitted it only once. Several stalwarts of this site have experienced multiples recently and I would be surprised if they resulted from multiple sumissions. Bring on the new beast! Guest (0)
54850 2002-06-18 10:04:00 You can add to that list Much Binding in the Marsh, Monday Night at Eight, Childrens Hour, Workers' Playtime, In Town Tonight, Happidrome, Victor Sylvester, etc. Many of these will only have meaning to ex-Poms of course!
