| 54807 | 2002-06-17 21:43:00 | I'm pretty sure the Vaio's have a built in iLink (aka, Firewire or IEEE), so you can simply plug the camcorder into the laptop via the appropriate cable. Then it's a matter of installing some video capture software such as VideoStudio 6 or Pinnacle Studio 7. Perhaps the Sony came with some software already install that you can use...I'm not sure of the specifics of the Vaio. The April 2002 issue of PCWorld had a feature on doing just that. See if you can track down a copy. |
